Great interview Gregg, he sounds like a nice guy.

Looking forward to the Sydney show + T in the Park with a big crowd!

he was very nice, his phone cut out during the interview and he wouldn't stop apologizing. just one of those musicians you talk to that didn't come across as someone in a pretty big band, just this really shy, modest guy who was genuinely thankful for any sort of success.

I also highly enjoyed the interview, very keen for them at GTM Maitland, maybe Bendigo & temptingly the Hi-Fi

i think the first album is my favourite, but given to the wild is great. not sure if it's your cup of tea though. youtube some of the singles off GTTW and if you don't like them, you won't like the album.
was it a mecca dauber or a betting pencil?

I reckon Given to the Wild is their best release, mainly because the songs have a darker/grander tone to them and remind me a bit of Foals. As for singles, I think that Pelican isn't a good reflection of the whole album, as its tone is quite different to the rest. Feel to Follow is the better single to gauge what the tone of the album is like.

The standout tracks for me on the album were Child & Forever I've known, have a check on them BC.

i just like the naivety in the lyrics of the first record. so juvenile, but they're honest.

Send her my way.

No idea why everyone faps so much over Foals.
This song is for the guy who keeps yelling from the balcony, and it's called "We Hate You, Please Die".

Great melodies, the two guitars create some great harmonies, energetic live shows, etc.

I honestly don't get why everyone raves about their live shows.

I really love both of their records but I saw them live twice and both times they were good, but certainly not the masturbatory quality everyone seems to make them out to be.

Plus the singer seems like such a massive twat.

i wasn't into them greatly until i saw them live the first time. maybe melbourne got better shows. particularly the palace, when the played hummer randomly. blsydney.
