For all I know, filtered disc could be a genre.

Few things in the world are funnier than dance music subgenres.

Was a year too young as well. Still gutted as well In fact, coincidentally my mates at work and I were talking about that concert today.

Although now that I'm over 18, I laugh at all the under 18s who can't get in.

Daft Punk's new album:
May have mouthed off in an FL forum last week about this site missing music exclusives, but credit where credit's due this one is a beaut. Got the interview before the Guardian and NME and stereogum (which gives credit to FL) and shitfork etc. etc. Love nothing more than seeing the heavy hitters outdone.

you do realize that house music is one of the fastest growing music genres of all time, right? daft punk is one of the architects behind modern music, their influence in europe and us has started a whole wave of new music. daft punk will always be on of the greatest electronic music producing groups of all time.

No Chic love for WA - the Freo gig got cancelled:

It is with great disappointment the Chic featuring Nile Rodgers event scheduled for Saturday 10 March has been forced to cancel.

Faced with advanced ticket sales well below any reasonable expectations, we have no choice but to do the responsible thing and cancel the event.

A show of the calibre and prestige of Chic requires a standard of production and logistics not worthy of compromise; scaling back or downsizing venues is simply not an option.

We sincerely apologises for any inconvenience and disappointment caused to fans.
