FRIENDLY FIRES

DANANANANAKROYD
Scottish 5-piece Dananananakroyd will play their first Australian shows since their ill-fated 2009 Splendour tour. That trip ended when drummer John Baillie Junior broke his arm after jumping into the crowd at their Sydney sideshow. They'll return to the same venue to kick off the anticipated comeback shows:

FITZ & THE TANTRUMS
Los Angeles sextet Fitz & The Tantrums came about after lead man Michael Fitzpatrick bought an old church organ from an ex-girlfriend's next door neighbour. Fitz had spent plenty of years before that working as a producer with Mickey Petralia (RATM, Beck, Peaches). Their debut LP Pickin' Up The Pieces dropped last year and you can hear plenty from it at the following club shows:
