But don't you think that it's soo bad it must be seen because poeple will never fully comprehend it's badness. I saw this film when I was about 12 years old and it freaked the bejeeus outta me.

I remember reading a news article a few years ago about how some events in the film were actually real.

I Have a bad feeling about the new Star Trek, after my initial optimism. I think J.J Abrams is a bit of a tool as well. The House Bunny should be stricken from the cinematic record and the Red Sonya remake will most likely be a pile of shite.

Also Samuel Jackson proves yet again that he will do and wear anything for a dollar in The Spirit. Could be a case of so bad it's good though.

What frustrates me about Uwe Bol is the way he ruins good stories. Video games these days have decent stories written by decent writers, yet all the adaptations by Uwe Bol just don't seem to give the story any justice. I haven't seen Postal but I will change my opinion if its warrented

I expected something awesome, and although there was some laughs, it came off as if they had done it impromptu. Made the lines up on the spot etc.
It would have been much funnier if that was the case.

The whole Scary Movie, Epic Movie, Meet The Spartans saga of spoof movies is total shit. Give me Hot Shots, Airplane (Flying High), and Loaded Weapon 1 anyday.

Plenty of classic lines in that movie. I can't go past Lloyd Bridges in Hot Shots though, he owns in that movie.

"Ah. I look out there on all you wonderful guys and I say to myself "What I wouldn't give to be 20 years younger... and a woman". You know, I've personally flown over 194 missions and I was shot down on every one. Come to think of it, I've never landed a plane in my life."

Finally saw the new Rambo on a friend's cinema screen last night. What a fucking brutal, depressing pile of steaming shit. But strangely very enjoyable.

I saw Rambo at the movies and allthough I found the story pretty tedious and really didn't care if any of the characters survived or not I still plan to buy it on DVD when I get around to it.
Towards the end it was just raining blood and limbs and I was totally gobsmacked, one to watch with grandma.

Yes, it was truly, truly brutal. But you can't help but feel a bit sickened at how exploitative it is of a real situation that is thoroughly depressing.

I remember Stallone giving an interview saying that he needed to make it brutal to bring attention to the Burma situation. Not sure how he intended to achieve that.

Only Arnie could pull off quotes in his thick Austrian accent, like the scene where he quietly kills that guy on the airplane and tells the stewardess:

"Don't disturb my friend, he's dead tired."
