If we're throwing around Radiohead we might as well throw Daft Punk and David Bowie into the mix

Don't forget Pinkerton!
This song is for the guy who keeps yelling from the balcony, and it's called "We Hate You, Please Die".

Who names their album after an oxygen and liquefied medication delivery tool mostly used by chronic asthmatics? It's probably the most un-gangster name for an album ever.

Take that Kerser

Didn't you hear? Campbelltown now has those guys that fought with a chainsaw and a sword.

It sure didn't have smug little humblebraggers... we have nothing to brag about.

Campbelltown is a city. We have Kate Ritchie, an festival about a guy who was murdered and the guy who won gold in ice skating because everyone else fell over.

And me.

I deal with nebulisers everyday being a Physio. I don't know why you would write an album about one.

I went to Macarthur Square once. It was deceptively clean.

Being able to count to 15 is pretty impressive, from the sound of it. Did you do it all mentally, or did you take off your sik fake supras?

I think we can all agree that 2012 should be the year that Harvest will...

Sigur will be enough to get me to multiple Harvests again, but here is the rest of my wishlist:

GY!BE
Patrick Watson
Mew
The Antlers
William Fitzsimmons
Fever Ray

Also, EITS at splendour with no sideshows could suggest they are doing what Mogwai did last year.

Don't put any faith in Mew coming either, it always ends in disappointment. They possibly might think about maybe considering about coming once they've released their new album, but don't hold your breath.

If you're a Splendour exclusive this year it's because you just toured (EITS, The Kooks) or you have another tour locked in already (ATD-I, Bloc Party).

This seems irrelavent to the Harvest thread but anyway I hope you are right on the Bloc Party tour, but of course you are they love Australia & I love them, hoping for a good limited dance packed album.

Yeah they'll do a full tour of Australia soon after, and knowing my luck I won't be able to go. Seriously, since 2007 I've missed out on every Bloc Party tour for one reason or another, despite them touring every second weekend. Same goes for the The Killers. Except I can kinda understand why they didn't play Sydney last time...

I reckon ADT-I could possibli play BDO or Soundwave, more likely BDO if it's one of the two because of them being on the Lolla lineup and G3 might have some touring agreement with them.

I have had the same issue, I kinda saw them at Splendour 09 but I was so out of it I didn't really appreciate it

I'm not worried about the lineup too much. Last years festival was such a pleasure I want to go again just for the fun of it.
However, I think the following bands would have me 'trippin out,' some previously mentioned.

My Bloody Valentine
Sigor Ros
Dead Can Dance (good chance imo)
The Cure
Stone Roses
Jesus And Mary Chain

Ben Kweller
Portugal. The Man
Gillian Welch
Bombay Bicycle Club
We Were Promised Jetpacks
Childish Gambino

Seriously, Beck! time to check their tour schedule. I think Beck is bigger than Portishead. I'm thinking of a retro act along the lines of 'the family stone' era and my first thought is 'The Beach Boys.'

Beck is a person, not a band. No way would Beach Boys play Harvest.

My Bloody Valentine have been ruled out by AJ on twitter as being "too loud" for a city festival in Australia.
