So a proper tour and a festival?

Splendour?
This song is for the guy who keeps yelling from the balcony, and it's called "We Hate You, Please Die".

Yeah, obviously...

They could easily do Parklife or Future or Good Vibes or Laneway or Harvest or that one that Justice headline like every year or one of the million other festivals in the next 12 months

Was thinking, they'd probably go with two of the seven fests Fuzzy puts on every year.

The Ting Tings have also let slip they're touring twice this year, and just like Sleigh Bells it'll be a festival and headline dates.

Guessing a Splendour appearance after the withdrawal last year?

Splendour and Parklife are less than 2 months apart. I highly doubt they would return that soon.

Sleigh Bells just said they're coming here twice while touring this album, not necessarily this year. They'll probably coming for a mid-late year festival this year (maybe Splendour, maybe Parklife, maybe something else) and then an early-mid year festival in 2013. Many, many bands do this. Just look at the overlap between the Splendour and Laneway lineups most years.

Splendour is in Byron. Parklife is national. No sideshows, they'll just play both. It's happened before

Mogwai did Splendour and Harvest didn't they? that was twice in 3 months so can't really rule anything out. but it's very unlikely.

But basically all the internationals at Splendour do Syd/Melb and sometimes Perth sideshows. No real point in going round the country twice in 2 months

How good was BK Baby? Love that guy so much, would have no issues with him returning for Harvest.

He was really good! Hard to complain about a show where the last three songs are Penny On The Train Tracks, Commerce TX and Wasted And Ready

Random question, are Band of Horses going to be touring here sometime? Did they tour recently and I didn't notice it? I know they supported KoL a couple of years ago...

I liked them a while back but I sort of forgot about them and didn't get their new album.

They supported KoL last November for their newest album, no idea whether they'll be back for more

Hopefully it's Spoon.

I predict it will be someone a bit bigger than that. Maybe Interpol or Placebo? Placebo has toured with Soundwave before but would surely fit Harvest better than Soundwave.

I wonder...

Will this be at Riverstage and same venues as Harvest, sounds like an outdoors event.

The Cure, Stone Roses, Blur ?

And Vivid is announced soon, man I am spending too much money on concerts already!

If AJ announces Stone Roses I will be in a state of disbelief.

I'm not going to imagine for a second that it could be Blur.
