Splendour In The Grass unveiled their 2012 lineup this morning, and to get us in the mood for all things Splendourific we have put together a mini live preview of winter’s biggest party: the set lists, live footage and what to expect when the likes of Jack White, Bloc Party, At The Drive-In make their long-awaited return to our shores.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Reporting from their first show together in over eleven years last week our FL reviewer said: “The band opened with Arc Arsenal and went on to play a fourteen song set which spanned much of their back-catalogue. The opening salvo was magnificent; you can imagine nobody has seen them play for so long, then when they came out, everyone lost it.” The band knocked it up a notch at Coachella where Consequence of Sound noted “The rhythm section of Paul Hinojos and Tony Hajjar, on bass and drums respectively, moved like a well-oiled beast of their own alongside the blistering twin guitar attack of Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Jim Ward, whose finest moment came during the crashing climax of Napoleon Solo.”
