Yes Music is like like Blood or Water i.e neccessary
What’s your earliest musical memory?
Collectively? Whoa, we’re really not that close.
How would you describe your band’s music?
Primitive, brutal, abrupt, cryptic, sharply melodic, raindance rhythms.
What are your musical influences?
Wire, Birthday Party, Patti Smith, The Creatures, New Order, A Certain Ratio.
Who are you most looking forward to seeing at the V Festival?
Air, because they’ve not been to Australia.
If you win Garage to V what would you have in your rider?
Who cares what’s on the rider, we’re playing the V Festival!
What artist would you want to share a sneaky backstage pash with at the V fest? Why?
I’m more interested in playing the V festival than pashing anyone. Though…Plug-In City were our first love.
Who would you like to share a dressing room with and why?
Bearing in mind we’ve never had a dressing room, I’m happy to share it with anyone
What’s the key ingredient for having at great day at V festival?
Music, friends, Good weather
How important are competitions like Garage to V in the ongoing success of your band?
It is very nice to receive recognition for what we are doing, and although that isn’t the reason why we do it, we’d love the opportunity to play alongside bands we may otherwise not have the chance.
