Usually a ‘Best of’ CD heralds something of a death knell for a band – a time to plunder the back catalogue when either creativity or popularity has waned. Not so Something For Kate. Yes the band have just released a new CD – The best of the Murmur Years – but it’s far from your standard string of singles affair. SFK have taken a far more considered approach to deliver a double CD packed full of surprises for their fans.
