Short Stack are fast emerging as the hottest new young band in Australia. With more energy than a box of frogs, their music is a blend of many genres, including punk, glam and indie. Their lyrics are honest, witty and tongue in cheek all stitched together with teenage confessions.
In the year and a half since they formed, Short-Stack have had over two hundred and thirty thousand online plays and have gigged all around Australia, from Sydney to Karuah. They’ve had many adventures along the way, including getting chased through the suburbs and being beaten up by a drunken old lady.
Short Stack T.V. launched in July 2007, showing self-filmed episodes of the band’s life. It’s proving to be a real winner with the internet generation and is currently picking up over 1000 new views per week on youtube. www.youtube.com/shortstackband.

Short Stack have just signed an International deal with Sunday Morning Records. With the band’s energy and Shaun Diviney’s exceptional songwriting talent, their debut album is steadily filling with potential hit after hit.
In keeping with their digital outlook on life, their first release in October 2007 is to be a ringtone of “Princess,” their most popular song on MySpace. A single will follow in 2008 along with a fresh new album
