Forming in early 2007, QUIET THE FEW is a three piece band from Melbourne. Having honed their live performance skills in various other bands, QUIET THE FEW decided to start its life in the studio rather than on the stage. Six months of heavy writing and recording followed, and in October the debut E.P. “NORTH” was completed.
Recorded at Abercorn and Sing-Sing studios by Hugh Counsell, mixed by Matt Voigt at Abercorn and mastered by Ross Cockle at Sing-Sing, “NORTH” is 5 tracks and 28 minutes of aggressive rhythms partnered with haunting melodies to create something lacking in the Melbourne music scene: passionate and powerful songwriting.
In 2008, QUIET THE FEW plan on playing as many shows as possible to as many people as possible as well as beginning work on their as-yet untitled follow-up to “NORTH”.
