Mesha are a 4 piece pop/rock act based in Sydney.
Mesha, in their most recent and established lineup have been playing the Sydney pub scene for the past 3 years, in this time, Meshas managed to knock the socks off audiences with their energetic live performances and original, tight and polished but gritty rock sound.
With catchy riffs and hooks thumping, punchy and tight bass and drums, Mesha want to share with everyone their love of real Aussie rock- just 4 guys and their instruments, with no wizzbang effects or crazy loops or samples.
the last 3 years have been successful for mesha, with tours to Melbourne as well as shows in Newcastle and Wollongong and the release of the bands single Training Day, which has returned positive feedback, as well as video clip and scoring a place on liquid malisha’s wakeboarding 2006 dvd "immunity". Without a doubt, the crowning moment for the band was having the opportunity to play at the Sydney Super Dome as apart of the Taste of Chaos Tour, in october 2005, playing to an audience of around 10 000 people.
Mesha hopes their tunes will instill in audiences and listeners that, like the forefathers of earlier Aussie pub rock, real Aussie pub rock can be fun, catchy, and keep you singing along, long after the last listen..
