The world heritage listed Ellora caves were once the spiritual home of three different religions at the same time. Ellora the band hope to spread this spirit of peaceful co-existance among the music lovers who come into contact with this page, converting them to appreciate music as a form, not a particular style.
So who is Ellora?
Emerging from the relative confines of Melbourne’s city of Casey, experimental melodic rock outfit Ellora are fast establishing themselves as ones to watch amongst Melbourne’s famed alternative scene.
Combining a passion for performance with energetic tunes, the Ellora live experience is one unrivaled by many of their more experienced contemporaries.
Combining the incredibly catchy melodies and rich lyrical imagery of vocalist Brenton Harris with the dance inducing progressions and ever changing sound of guitarist Ian Zed, all set to the inventive rhythmic back drop provided by drummer Ashleigh Willis and the booming sound of bassist Daniel Logan, Ellora have developed an inspiringly original yet instantly familiar blend of melodic rock.
And it is this when coupled with their desire to succeed that the band’s hopes will hold them in good stead as they strive to achieve their wildest musical dreams.
