Welcome Distraction is a five piece pop rock band, located in Sydney’s north-west. Forming in early 2007, the band’s creation is a result of the band’s extensive musical influences and need for a creative outlet. With four members already being part of the expressive side project Random Kaos, Welcome Distraction is considered to be a progressive form of pop rock music.
Welcome Distraction draws on numerous musical influences, but primarily focuses on creating an addictive pop rock sound; with elements of funk and jazz, to produce an appealing musical experience.
