The Transients are Robert Maszkowski and Béla Inkster.
The Transients arose out of a collaboration between Inkster’s electronic outfit Béla and Maszkowski’s former Perth indie outfit Halogen, whose vocalist Jasmine Yee can be heard on Pendulum’s album “Hold Your Colour”.
Graduates from WAAPA (Music Technology), The Transients pay a lot of attention to creating electronic music with catchy pop melodies and tight polished production.
Currently unsigned, and with production of their debut EP nearing completion, The Transients hope to release the EP this year, with “You Know Why” being the first single from it.
The Transients have recently been finalists in both the WAMI and MusicOZ awards.
