From out of Melbourne comes The Scissor File. A melodic rock outfit armed with a fistful of catchy rock anthems, with their hearts on their sleeves and a no bullshit attitude. TSF solidified their kick arse line-up with the addition of Ben & Brenton in May 2007 and the recent addition of a second guitarist, Darcy. In the 10 months since then the band has played over 50 shows in Vic, NSW, Qld & SA sharing the stage with a diverse range of bands including Trial Kennedy, Horsell Common, Angela’s Dish, Deez Nuts, Behind Crimson Eyes, Getaway Plan, Capeside, Ricki Lee, Stealing O’Neal and Taxi Ride. Through their talented and prolific song writing skills the band has added 15 new songs to the TSF song roster inclusive of three part vocals and harmonies. The Scissor File live performance has been described as an almost tangible energy generated by five amazing young musicians doing what they do best, sharing the same passion and loving every minute of the dynamic that is created through their combined musicianship. The Scissor File is set to take the Australian music scene by storm in 2008 – look out for ‘em in a town near you….
