The Rogues started in the late summer of December 2004 as a desperate attempt for jack Rodgers (vocals) to maintain his rock chic, despite his previous band disintegrating around him. For this he enlisted the help of previous band members Steven Moloney (Guitar) and Reuben Schafer (Bass), and in pure desperation sought out Tom Kidd, of whom he had heard had inherited a drum kit. Two weeks, a few emails and some annoyed neighbors later, the boys had found a release for the pent up mongrel inside all teenage boys.
The boys soon discovered that none of them had been playing their instrument for more than 6 months, and in Tom’s case, 2 weeks, and so to make up for the poor musicianship the boys developed a riotous onstage performance. Soon named ‘The Rogues’ the boys started to play a hodge podge of AC/DC and Ramones covers, and slowly started to write originals in this same eclectic fashion.

Three years later and still together the boys have grown into a tight and experienced rock super group. No longer hindered by poor musicianship, the boys have however kept their manic live performances, for which they have become known.

2008 heralds a big year for the rogues already. With an EP due July 2008, some big gigs, and an East Coast tour later in the year, you’d best keep an eye and ear out for The Rogues.

Seems like the band owners have been pretty boring here, you should get in contact with them and find out why it's empty!
