The Remedials.
Established in 2003 and bolstered to their current line up in 2006, The Remedials infuse many influences to generate their own brand of party rock. Four old friends split between guitars, piano/organ, bass and drums, with three strong vocals across the front forge a broad range of rock pop songs with unique personality.
A tight and energetic band live, The Remedials gigged hard in 2007 and recently took a break to finish their second E.P with local engineers Peter Knight and Laurie McCallum. While the EP isn’t due until April the first single ‘Sunshine’ is available now as part of California based, 272 records “Riot On Sunset Volume 9” compilation. Following its release in December ’07 ‘Sunshine’ has received airplay in Australia and the US and spent three weeks in the top ten of triplejunearthed.com’s charts.
The Remedials really found form in 2007 with shows attracting positive feedback from punters and critics alike and the forthcoming EP generating interest at home and overseas. Keeping up the momentum, 2008 is shaping up to be the most exiting for The Remedials so far!
