The Original Generics began in late 2005, when a drunken promise was made to start jamming (which only Nick can remember). Musical differences soon resulted in a split with our second guitarist, upon which Simone & Nick began their long & futile search for a drummer. In mid-2006, Simone ended up moving in with Rients, an experienced muso & drummer with a unique style, who quickly & eagerly joined. Since then, they have started playing gigs at the peninsula lounge, the tote, the evelyn, Public Bar, Spoon Bar, Noise Bar, & others.
