Jason Barnes and Tim Price met at an open mic night and from there started jamming with songs that have now become Origin songs. Throw electric frontman Glenn Olive and talented, talented bassman Carl McCabe in, and you have a ball-tearer of a band, ready to take you from emotional melodies to searing rock riffs in an instant.
Influenced by the likes of the Foo Fighters, Audioslave, Rage Against the Machine, Gyroscope and Karnivool, the boys have worked hard to create what they hope to be historic songs.
Their transition from soft melodies to hard metal in their songs such as Sienna Tears is a match made in heaven.
Keep an ear out for the heart-breaking song as it will leave you in goosebumps with it’s combination of touching lyrics and eerie guitar screams.
When The Origin Complex grace the stage, the boys make the most of every moment, feeding off each other’s energy.
Look for a different type of release when the boys take the plunge and release their unique brand of ball-kicking rock into the world.
