Ok, so please don’t tell me you haven’t seen The Mania yet.

Since their inception one short year ago, this merry band of rocknroll apeshits have been socking it to the pleasure lobes of cool kids across the country – on Triple J’s airwaves, on fbi, and in some blistering live shows.

So if you haven’t already, meet Claire, Nic, and Ben aka The Mania. Their heads together amount to one powerful psychiatric condition – but make no mistake, this sister-brother-drummer combo have the goods to blow your mind.

Toting swags of original, punky rock’n’roll, and surfing easily from weird melodic prettiness to distorted, driving munt, The Mania might pretend they’re fucked in the head, but their music betrays more magic than mentalness, and is clever before it is cuckoo.

And live? It’s pure mania. All raw, fuck-you energy laced with catchy melodies – like Beatle-mania, like axe-wielding mania, like, like…just go see ‘em.
