In March of 2006 ‘The Greys’ shunted the mainstream and released limited edition vinyl record. This move was backed up by giving away free down loads to any with a computer and a desire to discover new bands. “Free down loading is now a part of the music consumer’s way of life, and we do not wish to be left behind” says Duckworth. “if people want a C.D. copy of our music they are free to rip it if they want to collect something cool and different then a vinyl is something that could never be reproduced”. The single was recorded by The greys and Marshall Stack in their own studio and Mastered by Don Bartley at 301 in Sydney.
By the years end the Greys will have played all over the east coast, with shows around the country including Canberra, Sydney, Lismore, Toowoomba, Brisbane, Pine Shire, Maroochydore, as well as playing many times at home on the Gold Coast. The Greys also managed to share the stage with high profile acts YOUTH GROUP (Sydney) and Giants Of Science (Brisbane) and Goons of Doom (Sydney)
