Fusing punk, disco and a touch of ‘cock rock’, the Blow Wave’s unique sound has been described as punchy, rocky disco camp… full of raw attitude.
The Blow Waves are; Vocals – Matt Doll, Guitars – Jamie Wave, Keyboards – Byron St John, Bass – John Pants, and Drums – Jezz Beat.
The Blow Waves first came together to perform as a group at Adelaide’s Feast Festival in 2006 and have been invited back to perform each year – a testament to their live performances. They played the Sydney Mardi Gras in 2008 and spent extensive time on the road trolling the traps from Ballarat to Brisbane building further on their reputation for delivering inspiring live shows.
