The Black Arts are a highly-regarded Brisbane based Rock band, hell-bent on purging marauding devils from this modern life and burning holes in your esoteric heart. They inject abstract, social and political idealism into the mainstream of the music industry with solid rock ethos and Beatlesque harmonies to die for, Son. The Black Arts have played everywhere, even toured the U.S.A and Canada as part of the North-by-North-East Music Festival. Last year they released their debut self titled E.P to rave reviews and screaming, fainting, fanatical, fervent, maniacal zealots and a few other guys who got in for free. The Black Arts have featured on Brisbane radio (4zzz) and national radio stations such as Triple J and F.B.I Radio with their catchy singles “War on Hurricanes” and “The Music or the Drugs”, as well as T.V’s Rage and numerous internet sites (nothing suss). They draw from a number of influential sources such as Pixies, The Beatles, The Flaming Lips, The Frames, Mclusky, Wilco, Tom Waits, Bill Hicks and so on and on and on… The Black Arts continue to play live everywhere and are currently recording tracks for their next release (due later in 2008). They are mostly happy and content in life and are willing to hang out and chat after shows and sign whatever and accept free gifts and tokens of appreciation from all sorts of folk. The Black Arts are not politically affiliated with any party at present but for the right price will just about do anything (or anyone). For real. Check out www.myspace.com/wearetheblackarts

Boooring……

Seems like the band owners have been pretty boring here, you should get in contact with them and find out why it's empty!
