We formed: Early 2005. And no, it wasn’t “the result of some drunkenly debauched night when the crazy idea of forming a band was hatched”. Believe it or not, we knew this was a good idea.
We dig: The artistes listed to your left. And then some. Melodies. Harmonies. Chord changes – sometimes a couple, sometimes a couple more. Volume. Distortion. Fuzz. Feedback. Tremolo. Jingle. Jangle. Twang. Lyrics about girls, growing up, getting f*cked up, f*cked over, and f*cking off. You get the drift.
We’ve played with: artists we actually dig, such as Charles Jenkins, Tim Rogers & The Temperance Union, Ice Cream Hands, Dallas Crane, Dan Kelly & The Alpha Males, The Exploders, The Cops, Lazy Susan, The Lovetones, The Silents, Belles Will Ring, The Dolly Rocker Movement, Ground Components, Telecom, The Suits, Downhills Home, Mexico City, Swayback, I [love] Space, Intercooler, The Saturns, The Shake Up and Mink Jaguar, in Canberra, Sydney and beyond. If you dig any of these guys, you might dig us.
We are currently: rehearsing, demoing songs (as soon punters dig ‘em live) for the recording of our debut album (whenever that moment presents itself), and playing at a venue near you soon. You know, the usual band stuff.
