Young, Dumb, Full of Fun and Rock and Roll!
Melbourne’s quintessential alternative melodic rock 4 Piece
(Buzz Mag Feb 2007), Talk Show Host were founded in
January 2007 on the Mornington Peninsula where old
School friends, and attracted early interest from Sydney Producer Phil
McKellar (Silverchair, Kisschasy, Grinspoon, The Hot Lies,
Hoodoo Gurus) to record their Debut EP in Sydney with
him. The Self Titled EP is Produced and Mixed by Phil
McKellar and Mastered back in Melbourne By Jack The
Bear.
Talk Show Host have played at many locations across
Melbourne including The Peninsula Lounge, The Evelyn,
The Tote, Revolver, Ding Dong, Espy and The Pony with
bands like Calling All Cars, The Galvatrons, Red Ink, Rock City, Dead Letter Circus, Fading
Hour, Rock City, Goodnight Combat Fighter, Waterview
(NSW), Joel Plasket (Canada), Kaki Academy (NSW),
Arcade Hero and have appeared in Beat and Buzz
Magazine.
Talk Show Host will be playing in and around Melbourne in
the coming months and have plans for an east coast and
Adelaide tour later this year. Their Debut EP will be on sale
soon.
