Pimpin’ Horus – it’s old-school funk, jacked up on rock infusion! Born of the loins of pre-existing bands in early 2008 after a long and sordid courtship, this project allows each member to truly unleash. Though each of its members have been kicking round the Adelaide music scene for a few years, Pimpin’ Horus is by far their most outrageous outlet yet – and the fun is infectious!
Whilst the story so far is brief, the crackle of potential energy between these demigods of funk-rock has steadily increased with each progressive show. Having harnessed this energy on their debut EP (recorded at Capital Sound Studios and mastered by the best of the best in New York), Pimpin’ Horus is now primed to explode with the ferocity of a lightning bolt over a dark alley.
