What began as the forming of a friendship between like-minded souls; created a band unto itself. A band with passion. A group who’s shared sense of alienation had brought them to their only means of escape. Their music.
KILLER RIFFS, blazing solos, dramatic symphonies and ripping vocals; Pandema is born.
Once founded, the group experienced line-up changes. Shortly before a gig, the drummer mysteriously disappeared and was never heard from again. Stepping in to fill the position was Ryan Tews. The position of keyboard player was filled by renowned maestro Jay Stewart, and Nat Banner became the final addition as bassist.
With Steve Anemaat’s life long obsession in words and poetry; Johnny Trevillien’s passion for lead playing; Jay Stewart’s years of piano expertise; Nat Banner’s love of experimental music and Ryan Tews’ unique approach to drumming… Together, the band became greater than the sum of it’s parts.
Pandema is the answer to a generation yearning for change;
