Misdirection is a four piece alternate/rock act based on the Gold Coast. Forming in 2004, the boys had one main goal…to write music they themselves loved to play and hear, and within the first couple of years they had seen it all….dizzying highs, gut busting lows, and everything in between.

Releasing their first ep in 2006 titled ’.inertia’, this 6 track blend of powerful melodies, monster riffs and driving bass, built on a solid foundation of beats, saw them instantly appeal to the masses. With their high energy live shows drawing in the crowds, they were really making a name for themselves, which in turn was earning them some great shows.

Going through line-up changes in the following year, Misdirection took a break from the scene, focusing on writing and keeping the foundation they had built on friendship, solid and tight. During this time the demand for their high intencity rock rapidly grew, and before too long they were back, and armed with a string of new songs.

Now tighter and closer then ever, Misdirection is currently touring across Oz, with the release of their debut album ” Cast No Shadows ”, and are not slowing down. Be sure to catch them at a town near you, as they truly are a force not to be reckoned with.
