Matt Finish is one of Australia’s most iconic and influential bands performing live to over a million people and inspiring generations with their original, powerful and articulate fusion of folk, blues, funk and rock.

Released in 1981, Matt Finish’s inaugural hit single and album Short Note are widely regarded as all-time Australian classics and continue to sell to this day. The title track has appeared on dozens of compilation albums, in 2005 it featured in Triple M’s Best Songs of the Eighties, in 2006 it was covered by Wendy Matthews on her album Café Naturale and in 2007 it was used as the theme song for the film Final Winter.

Now in 2008, Matt Finish are playing to full houses around Australia and their new album “1978-2008” is receiving rave reviews from critics and fans alike.
