Lord Byron formed late 2005 originally as an art project and has grown significantly since then. As a song writing collaboration, Lord Byron is Kevin Zwierzchaczewski and Robert Russell who draw influence most heavily from David Bowie, Queen and the Baroque music of the 17th Century. As a glam rock band, calling upon all the finest traditions of Ziggy Startdust, Roxy Music and T-Rex, Lord Byron is a musical tour de force with sounds ranging from cabaret to classical, from vaudeville to rock. Lord Byron was fully realised with the inclusion of Elspeth S. as lead guitar, Ben H. on drums and Jacob S. of former Dictator Chic reknown, on bass. Kevin and Robert can be found lending their sounds to vocals and keyboards repectively.
December 2006 saw Lord Byron recording their debut EP at Fire Fish Studios. The soon to be released five track record demonstrates the musical scope that the band has come to convincing call their own original sound. From sweeping rock epics to quiet ballads, the EP is a demonstration of the exciting diversity that is the beating heart of Lord Byron.
