Lion By Dove hail from Sydney’s Inner West.

Established in late 2006, we have a heavy/progressive/rock kinda sound, in the shades of the Smashing Pumpkins, Placebo, Tool, Joy Division, Muse etc.

Who are we? We are two 23 year old musicians who are psyched to make some really listenable heavy rock!! With plenty of experience on the Sydney live scene we place as much emphasis on a rockin live set as a loud, polished and exciting recording. For us, our songwriting has been a team effort, many hands making light work…and we know that with the right band-mates anything is possible. There is no rooftop to our aims, so imagine what you want and we are there.

We recently finished mixing a 7 track (drumless :-() demo and we’ve put up 4 tracks for your listening pleasure. Have a listen and humble us with your critical aclaim…or not, haha. Hope you like it!!

Our immediate aim is to get a new drummer.

Who are you? Basically, we are after a solid/creative drummer, around our age, who is a good person and motivated to work hard…
