Debut Album – Soul Conviction
2nd Single ‘Outside In’ Available Now
With the release of the debut album ‘Soul Conviction’ late last month; Libero Vox have swiftly become an entity unto themselves.
Now riding the buzz built from the single ‘Life’s Simple Pleasures’ comes the new funk of ‘Outside In’, the second single to be lifted from the album. ‘Outside In’ showcases more of Luke Golledge’s soul spattered vocals across funked up melt guitar, allowing a more sensual side of Libero Vox to shine through an exciting exploration of the limits of contemporary pop.
This second release is bolstered by the news that summer tour dates are set to be announced shortly. Libero Vox will be packing up guitars and surfboard’s as they map the east-coast in early 2007. Stay tuned for specific date details to follow.
The demand for a tour has been immense after the breakthrough success of debut album Soul Conviction. The album reached number four on the 4ZzZ charts and support has been echoed by press nationwide. A national campaign spanning Rolling Stone to Mixdown has seen Libero Vox grace interview sheets across the country from Melbourne’s Beat through Sydney’s The Brag to Brisbane’s Time Off. Faster Louder also threw their support behind the album, featuring both a strong review and insightful interview.
The new track is available through Itunes and e-music, and is already coursing its way through Australia’s commercial and community airwaves. The album continues to receive prominent airplay across upwards of 50 radio stations across Australia, with numbers growing weekly.
