The new beginning of triple j Unearthed is here!
What’s it all about?
That’s easy – music. Fresh Aussie music. triple j have been discovering new Australian music for over 30 years and Unearthing acts for more than a decade. The all new triplejunearthed.com will now support and expose even more great Australian artists.
So how does it work?
You make music. You put it up on triplejunearthed.com. The folks at triple j listen to it and think it’s hot. All of a sudden you’re being played on the radio, performing at Homebake to thousands of screaming fans, record labels are chasing you down, you hit rock-star status and get to smash up hotel rooms.
Well, we can’t guarantee it’ll all pan out exactly like that, but the new triple j Unearthed website will most certainly allow you to easily get your music into the ears of the movers and shakers of the music industry, as well as a whole new world of listeners – 24/7. You’ll get your own profile page with your music, photos and bio – kind of like your own mini website.
As soon as you’ve got a track on the website you’ll also be automatically in the running for any competitions on the go. The exact prizes will depend on the competition but it’s all good. You might get an interview on triple j radio, get a chance to be re-recorded with our top-notch music engineers, or even play at a major music festival.
If you are just a music lover but couldn’t write a song to save yourself, then head to triplejunearthed.com and find your new favourite bands. There are unlimited downloads and it’s totally free. As they say, no limits, no fees, no end to the possibilities.
Listen…download…discover.
Unearthed. A new beginning.
