St Jerome's Laneway Festival

St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival is an annual summertime tradition that began in a back alley in Melbourne in 2004. Fourteen hundred people were gathered to watch a few local bands perform in the blocked off laneway. The event was a success, and for the next few years, the festival was held in Melbourne. In 2006, the festival visited Sydney as well, where it generated an unbelievable amount of enthusiasm. In the next few years, St. Jerome’s Laneway festival grew to tour in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth, soon exploding into the international scene with stops in Auckland and Singapore.

The Laneway Festival team is dedicated to bringing the freshest and most quality music to its events. Months upon months of research and careful selection goes into the creation of each year’s lineup, and it shows in the top-of-the-line acts present each year. Each year has also brought with it bigger and bigger names. St. James Laneway Festival is an urban music experience like none other in the world.
