Unless you’re a loyal monarchist, the Queen’s Birthday long weekend is often just an excuse for a day off work to watch the football, but the Come Together festival provides a collection of musical delights to help us celebrate the advancing age of our foreign head of state.
The two-day festival heats up Sydney’s Luna Park on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th June with a strong line-up of local talent including Gyroscope, The Butterfly Effect, Grinspoon, British India and Bertie Blackman.
There are also a few international interlopers on the bill with Philadelphia’s The Loved Ones making their first trip down under to join punk rock royalty Strung Out at the festival – and presumably fit in a few other shows as well.
The all ages affair also includes unlimited free rides in addition to all the on stage mayhem.
