Coopers Alive 2009 is set to showcase 25 of the best “whats hot right now” original South Australian bands over 4 amazing nights this coming October.

Covering every genre in the musical rainbow…we’re talking Roots, Rock, Dance, Pop, Hip-hop, Punk, Rock, Metal, Classic and World music, the brainchildren behind Coopers Alive searched every corner of Adelaide to uncover some of the best emerging and established bands in SA

Each chosen act participates in workshops provided by Ausmusic SA, with every lineup banding together (scuse the pun) to create a unique one time only show designed to shine a light on our state’s great musical talent.

Held over two weekends, Coopers Alive 2009 kicks off Friday 16th and Saturday 17th of October, Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th October

16th October – Like Leaves, Thunderclaw, Bronze Chariot @ Ed Castle

16th October – We Grow Up, Radio Spectacular!!!, British Robots @ Rhino Room

17th October – Laura Hill and the Tuesday Bandits, Brenton Manser and the Disciples of Zen, Gracewood @ Wheatsheaf Hotel

17th October – Sukatash, Dialect, Mase & Mattic @ Crown & Sceptre

23rd October – Aviator Lane, Wintermild, Bing Goes To Monaco @ Jade Monkey

23rd October – Mere Theory, Grenadiers, Paper Arms, Cortez @ Fowlers Live

24th October – The Baker Suite, Golonka, Monkey Puzzle Tree @ Promethian

24th October – The Touch, The Waterslides, Kytes Of Omar @ Jive

Entry for each show is $10 at the door from 8.00pm.
