The Lost Gospel is a side project for Phil Jamieson from Grinspoon. Drawing on Australian rock pedigree the band also features Nick Wright (son of Stevie Wright) on guitar, Matt Strong (formerly of Custard) on bass and friend Lee Moloney on the drums. Phil of course is on vocals and guitar.

The story began when Phil recorded the album without the knowledge, involvement, and perhaps interference, of his manager, his band or his record company. Phil turned up at his manager’s house one day with the finished album which had been self-financed.

That album was “According to..”, and you can listen to some of its very fine tracks right here on FasterLouder.
