THE KOOKS’ INSIDE IN / INSIDE OUT
The Kooks have proved to be one of the UK’s biggest buzz bands for 2006. Hailing from Brighton, this scuzzy, fresh-faced group will fully restore your faith in the holy grail of English singer-songwriting, stretching from Supergrass via Blur to The Kinks and beyond!
“Bands tend to do one thing and then stick to it”, says singer Luke Pritchard. “With The Kooks we plan to do the opposite. When there’s so much more to explore, why limit yourself?”
This no limits formula seems to be working for The Kooks, with their debut album Inside In / Inside Out peaking at # 3 on the UK album charts and remaining in the top 10 for over 15 weeks.
If you missed our online listening party for Inside In / Inside Out, you can still watch the ‘Naive’ video and exclusive behind the scenes footage from the video shoot right here. FasterLouder members can also enter the competition to win a signed Epiphone Dot guitar.
