TV on the Radio is from New York City, which is a long way from Surry Hills. It's a 36 hour flight away, the opposite side of the world. Sydney likes to think it's the Australian equivalent of the Big Apple, but seriously, we're just a drop in the ocean.
Splendour 2006 through the eyes, ears and nose of a curious observer.
More than 17,000 eager punters invaded Byron Bay for Splendour in the Grass 2006. Day One's awesome line-up featured bands such as Dungen, Death Cab for Cutie, Something for Kate and Sonic Youth.

We have finally got our hands on The Big Day Out line-up for 2009.
TV on the Radio's Melbourne gig has changed venue from the previously advertised Forum Theatre to the Hi-Fi Bar.
The final line-up of artists for this year's Splendour in the Grass festival has been announced. Drum roll please...
NYC's favourite shapshifter's of hi-fi sound, TV on the Radio will be landing on our shores for Splendour in the Grass. Those of you that were be-moaning the fact that the event sold out and you had no ticket - can now get your fix of TVOTR when they kick off a series of sidehows.

Scarlett Johansson backs up her Coachella on-stage cameo with Jesus and Mary Chain with a forthcoming album, to be produced by TV On The Radio's Dave Sitek. Rumour has it that members of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Celebration also feature.
