Post Hardcore sensation Saosin return to Adelaide after their 2006 Taste of Chaos performance and bring screamo giants A Static Lullaby
Taste of Chaos was certainly that, with a really psycho mosh pit exemplifying the heavy music on display. Taking Back Sunday, Underoath and Thursday rocked the casbah, in five hours of non-stop emo/hardcore (with a bit of punk) that brought the kids out to play.
The Soundwave juggernaut rolls into Perth for a blistering day of live music.
A hot and dusty Bonython Park set the stage for the Adelaide leg of Soundwaves Festival.
Thursday played an amazing live show at The Forum to an intimate crowd, supported by Saosin, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, The Receiving End of Sirens and Envy on the Coast.

Soundwave 08 is already shaping up to be a cracker of a Festival this Feebruary - and now the event's promoters have announced further reasons to clap your hands in joy - sideshows, my friends, sideshows!
They came, they saw, they conquered, and, my oath, they'll do it again - Saosin were last in the country as part of the 2006 Taste of Chaos tour, and now to please their legions of new fans the post-hardcore troupe will be returning to Australia in May for their first ever headline tour.
Taking Back Sunday and Thursday headline the second Australian Taste of Chaos tour this October.
Taste of Chaos is over for another year but for those who can't wait until '07, The Best of Taste of Chaos Two has just hit the shelves. Featuring forty bands of the punk, emo/screamo, hardcore and metal genres over two discs, it provides a great overview of the types of music at the event.
