After making fans wait for a decade, Air finally arrive in Melbourne and they’re worth the wait.
Melbourne’s V Festival proved itself as a worthy contender in the Australian big name festivals, with enough highlights to immediately rival Big Day Out.
Air’s wonderfully French meld of lounge, electronica, and pure cheese, provide some of the sweeter sounds to be heard in Adelaide in recent times.

V Festival arrived in Melbourne for a smashing day of live music.
Air perform at St. Kilda's Palais Theatre as part of the V Festival sideshows.

V Festival Gold Coast came around for it's second year at Avica Resort bringing with it mud and delays.. but it did not stop The Smashing Pumpkins and Queens of the Stone Age from rocking the hell out.
The V Festival returns in 2008 with a world-class line-up that included Smashing Pumpkins, Air, Queens of the Stone Age and The Jesus and Mary Chain.
Air played their first Australian show in the beautiful surrounds of Kings Park with support from New Buffalo.
New Buffalo, Resort and DJ Future Frog will be supporting Ais on their V-Festival Sideshow at Kings Park Botanic Garden *LIVE BENEATH THE STARS* this Thursday 27 March 2008
After their first date at the Sydney Opera House sold out in ten minutes, Air has added an encore show at the prestigious venue on Monday 7 April.
French electronic act AIR will break their Australian tour cherry when they land here this March to play at V festival, good news for AIR fans - the outfit will also be delivering a series of their own headlining gigs.
