Original Pumpkins Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin will ‘lend a hand’ at Hollywood’s famous RockWalk later this month, preserving their palm-prints for future posterity.
That's right, the notorious grunge goddess herself has again surprised fans by staging a comeback show in Los Angeles on April 29. The rocker of course made sure it was a star-spangled affair, by calling on her songwriting helpers, Linda Perry (ex-4 Non Blondes) and Billy Corgan.
In what is most exciting and surprising news for Pumpkins/Corgan fans, the seminal band have announced that they are back together and hard at work writing the follow-up to 2000's 'Machina - The Machines of God'.

We all know who he is. We're all familiar with the body of work behind the man. So a solo album isn't that much of an unexpected leap. Without a band to prop him up though, Corgan runs the risk of becoming permanently locked in the shoegazing position.
