About six months ago I was privileged enough to see The Devastations at the same venue. This time around the appreciative punters were a lot better off.
The great thing about seeing live bands is that you can never rely upon the doors opening on time. Standing outside The Zoo tonight, anticipating the headlining band awaiting me -- Gentle Ben and His Sensitive Side -- I am perplexed by the small amount of punters waiting to buy a ticket.

The band's third album Yes, U, which was recorded in Berlin, dropped under their new label in September. And, it appears that while making touring plans the band has not forgotten where they came from. The Devastations are returning to Australia.
