Parklife again proved an eclectic mix of acts, kicking off the tour in Melbourne with fine performances from Lykke Li, The Streets and one scarily loud comeback set from Death From Above.

To many music lovers, the idea of going into a boiling hot desert to see a bunch of bands play isn't the wisest idea in the world. Yet for the majority of the punters at Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, there was no better place to be.
