The Wombats @ The Enmore Theatre, Sydney (05/08/08)

Playing their last show in Australia before flying home early due to health reasons, The Wombats enchanted Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on a chilly post-Splendour Tuesday night.

The Wombats @ Capitol 02/08/08

Many are under the impression that wombats are slow, fat and hairy. However there is a kind of Wombat that evolved in 2006 in Liverpool, that in the space of a year, has spread across at least three continents like STDs at a festival.

The Wombats @ The Gov, Adelaide (30/07/08)

An obsession with Marsupials, Neighbours and kitsch Australiana, wrapped up in harmonies of gold. Not a bad way to spend a weeknight at the Gov.

The Wombats @ The Hi Fi Bar, Melbourne (06/03/2008)

Despite the rather lacking duration of their set, the Wombats made sure their hyped status was lived up to.

The Wombats

English three-piece Wombats make cute, fun, and totally sugary pop music. They are nothing like the mammal from which they take their name – wombats are squat, ugly, and vicious little blighters.
