On Sunday the 25th of February 2007 Costin Street the Valley was lined with eager punters queued to witness the brilliance that is Damien Rice at The Tivoli, Brisbane. Disappointed they were not with Rice delivering a mammoth two and a half hour set to a surprisingly rambunctious crowd.
Live for one night only.... Damien Rice and band play a spellbinder at Thebarton Theatre.
A great show from Damien Rice. I have never been at a gig where the crowd was so captured by the performer from the minute he took the stage, no one in the crowd spoke until every song was finished and once the last chord was struck the room filled with applause

Damien Rice has been forced to cancel his upcoming appearance at Splendour in the Grass due to exhaustion - the singer had already pulled out from Pentaport and Fuji festivals last weekend and was hoping to fulfil his Splendour obligations
