Forming in 2002 via the then booming Central Coast scene & signing to indie upstart Below Par Records, Something With Numbers have grown from a branded “emo punk” band to a fully fledged rock and roll powerhouse.
Everyone is aware of the bands first four years, releasing an EP and debut album that sat on the top of the indie charts for months, years of steady touring and opening for numerous international acts but things didn’t really start to heat up until the band released Apple of the Eye (Lay me Down) in September 2006.
It presented the band their first Top 40 position & was followed a month later by the release of the bands second album Perfect Distraction, which also debuted in the Top 40
What has happened since has seen Something With Numbers, do the main stage at Homebake, Pyramid Festival, Big Day Out & Soundwave festivals main stage nationally. As well as a killer NYE show with Silverchair in Newcastle
