With comparisons to the likes of Bob Dylan and Mike Skinner – Jamie T built up quite a fan base in his hometown of Wimbledon when he first started performing his unique brand of punk/indie/hip-hop music around the traps.
Rather than waiting for fame to come to him – Jamie T – took matters into his own hands early on in the piece, distributing mix tapes and EPs of his music under his own label Pacemaker. His notoriety grew and it wasn’t long before NME and the rest of the red -cordial guzzling English music press got on board
In April of this year (with a little help from a Major) he released his debut album “Panic Prevention”. Its was received to high praise with singles Sheila and If you Got the Money becoming big hits.
Finally after all this he is making his way out to our shores. The lad from Wimbledon will be performing, acoustic bass in tow at, two special shows while he’s here….
