When Chris Carrabba decided to break away from his punk band Further Seems Forever, back in 1999, he really didn’t realise the life changing shift that the career move would make. In his words, the decision to take the then solo route with Dashboard Confessional came about initially by chance.
“It was more accidental – ‘cause I’d do songs and show them to my band – and my band wouldn’t like them, but I did,’’ he laughs. “So I ended up recording them on my own and they encouraged me to release them but somehow along the way my band seemed to falter…and I kept going…
